Making 64 servings

Multiply family serving size quantities by 8, so:

9 lb peas
2 lb sweet onion
16 hard-cooked eggs
2 lb very sharp cheddar
4 green peppers
2 cups light mayonnaise
2 cups plain whole yoghurt
1½ cups sweet pickle relish
2½ Tablespoons sugar
1 Tablespoon salt
2½ Tablespoons Dijon mustard
½ cup chopped fresh basil
